Coming back with phd, Sarah couldn't get a job as a lecturer so she grabed the first job offer she got as an engineer working under Haris Safwan. Before they even worked together, they had arguments. Don't know why Haris Safwan liked to irritate Sarah Humaira and Sarah Humaira disliked Haris Safwan the first moment she laid eyes on him.

5 years hadn't change Sarah Humaira, his wife as Haris Safwan would say. But Haris Safwan had changed a lot. From a skinny lad, now he was a tough guy; he braced his teeth to make them even and with his karisma and aura, his smiles made ladies melt. He tranformed a lot that even his own wife couldn't recognise him!

Eventhough she hadn't see nor talk to his husband for 5 years, Sarah Humaira still think herself as a married woman and she always distance herself from men, the main reason she could only accept Kamal Ikhwan as a friend. As the day passed, she was feeling more guilty to her husband and it led her to look for her husband. But where to find him? She didn't even know his name! The only thing she knew was that he was in UK.

A work trip with Haris Safwan changed everything. Sarah was feeling all the things she wasn't suppose to be feeling - for Haris Safwan. She was a married woman, for God's sake and she told Haris Safwan the truth - about her marriage, husband and her guilt. Haris who was waiting for that moment thought this would be the perfect time to reveal himself. Haris went home to Sarah's parents' home and with her parents' persuassion, Sarah came home at the same time.

When she finally found out Haris was her own husband, Sarah was more than willing to make up for the lost time. And they were happy. But then nothing as easy as it sound. Before reaching the "...happily ever after...", they were tested with so much. Could their love for each other stand? ;)

Isteri Separuh Masa is the author's second novel after M.A.I.D (which I read back exactly a year ago). I don't remember doing a novel review for her first novel but I do remember I like it LOL! Hence I didn't hestitate to buy her second 'baby' - Isteri Separuh Masa.

Medina Izwani was adopted when she was 6 years old by Nazrin Shah's parents. She was treated like their own daughter and a sister by Nazrin until 1 day, Medina clamied that she saw Zita (Nazrin's soon to be fiance at that time) having an affair with another man. Nazrin's parents and grandma were furious and the engagement was cancelled. Nazrin was devastated and he blamed Medina for what happened.

From that day onwards, Nazrin somehow had cast Medina as an outsider. For him, she was no longer the beloved sister she once to be. Whenever they met, verbal fights were always there. Just before Nazrin left to the UK to continue his studies, his parents and grandma decided to marry him off - to Medina! Both strongly disagree obviously! Medina who was having "cinta monyet" with Megat Shazril at that time wanted to fulfill her dreams to study in Ireland with Megat Shazril before marriage.

But for their love to their grandma, who was fallen ill due to their rejections, Nazrin and Medina finally agreed. Soon after their marriage, Nazrin left for UK and the husband and wife only met few times.

4 years later, Medina who was an undergraduate student was shocked to meet his adopted brother aka her husband in the uni's parking lot and more suprisingly, Nazrin was her tutor!! It was getting complicated when Medina had to move in with her husband when their family decided to visit and stay with them for a while.

When 2 people who had known each other for almost their lives; no matter how one hated the another but if you placed them in a room for a longer period of time, they would eventually make up for the sake of memories... sweet memories.
Medina admitted that she had fallen in love with her husband but afraid to say so eventho she noticed that Nazrin had changed, day by day. But when Zita came back into Nazrin's life and demanded that he divorced Medina, Medina had no choice but to confront them and told Zita that Nazrin was not "her type of guy". Nazrin, who realised that he loved Medina was crushed when he heard those words from Medina. Few misunderstandings there, few misunderstandings here, they finally made up... of course... but... life ain't that easy as it seems.

Zafril, who admitted that he liked Medina was frustrated when Medina didn't show any interest in him. So he used Niza, Medina's roommate in uni to know what's happening in Medina's life. Obsession? More to payback, I shall say.
What's the connection between Medina, Zafril, Megat Shazril and Niza? Well, read it to find out... khehe

Like Syurga Di Wajahmu, I read this Maafkan Abang novel online at penulisan2u.my before it was published. But online the title was Maafkan Abang, Tikah. Apart from a word omitted from the title, I was glad the storline is still the same.

Atikah and Hazimi used to be college mate, study buddies and friends back in the days. It all changed when Tikah fell for Hazimi. Hazimi who was with Marissa at that time didn't utter a word about her feelngs to Hazimi to anyone.

Years passed, Atikah landed a job at Hazimi's dad's company and these 2 friends were reunited again. 2 things never change all those years they were apart; Atikah still has feelings for Hazimi and Hazimi still with Marissa.

They held a reunion with their college buddies and there, Hazimi announced that he's getting married with Marissa, of course. 2 hearts were hurt - Atikah's and Yazman; who had loved Marissa since their high school. Yazman, who accidently found out that Atikah loved Hazimi tried to persuad her into his scheme - to break those 2 apart from their marriage. Atikah refused. For her, Hazimi's happiness is her happiness. But Yazman wouldn't have no as the answer. He threatened Atikah by hiring people to beat Hazimi up and landed him in the hospital's bed. Yazman gave Atikah 2 choice: trapped Hazimi into marrying her or she would see Hazimi's and his parents' bodies.

To save the man she loved, Atikah trapped Hazimi into marrying her. They were caught as 'berkhalwat'. Hazimi hated Atikah for it but his father, who was a man of honour, asked Hazimi to marry her. The moment Atikah became Hazimi's wife, her life was a living hell. She was mocked, beaten, abused... you named it, she had it. There was even times I had to stop myself from reading as I couldn't endure the 'pain'.

Atikah, knowing that she's the one to blame for Hazimi's abrupt change in behaviour tried to stand all that was thrown at her until one day, Hazimi's words sliced through her being and she had enough. She tried to confront Yazman to end all these but what did she got? She was raped by Yazman.

Sudah jatuh di timpa tangga.. ever heard those phrase? That's what happened to Atikah. She was tested so many times in so many ways that it makes me wonder, if there is such woman ever exists?

What happened to Tikah? When Hazimi finally found out the truth, was is too late? And would Atikah ever forgive him for what he had done? I mean, how could you forgive a person who treated you like an insect?

To truly 'experience' the novel, you have to read it yourself. I managed to finish this novel in a day and a half (coz I had to force myself to stop) and by the time I finished reading it, "you have fluffy eyes and eye bags" as what my boyfriend said LOL!

My first novel by Alina Haizar, Aku Yang Kau Tinggalkan gave a very good impression on me so when I saw Hadirmu Takdirku by the same novelist, I didn't hestitate to take it from the shelves and bought it. Turned out, Hadirmu Takdirmu is Alina Haizar's first novel.. tsk tsk tsk... how could I have missed it?

Wan Jeffery, a rich spoilt boy only used Hana, a "canteen" girl to win a bet. The prize? Reunion with his ex-girldfriend, Lily. Hana, who was naive thought she could have a chance with Jeffery, thinking that deep down Jeffery also loved her like she loved him. Jeff always got what he wants and he made it very clear that wanted Hana or more like Hana's body. When he got what he wants, he was thinking of just leaving Hana like that.

Hana was scared, afraid that she might get pregnant. Jeff going to the US even scared her more - thinking that Jeff would just run away from his responsibilities. She begged Jeff to bring her to the US. Jeff in turn placed his trust on his uncle, Pak Su Adli to look after Hana, just incase she's pregnant. When Hana found out that she's pregnant, she contacted Pak Su Adli, hoping that he would help her when infact, he and Jeff's mum, Datin Maimunah trying to get rid of her and her baby.

Hana was sent to live with Jeff's grandma and so many lies were created by Pak Su Adli and Datin Maimunah to both Hana and Jeff. In the end, both Hana and Jeff thought one of them betrayed another. When Hana fell, she was told her baby didn't survive when infact her baby was given away by Pak Su Adli.

After 7 years, Jeff came back as a changed man. No longer the selfish, playboy guy 7 years ago. Experiences made hhim mature. When he accidently rescued a girl from a horrible accident, he got the shock of his life when the girl, Fiqah called him "Papa". From that, all the lies that were fed to him 7 years ago came back. Pak Su Adli had no choice but to tell the truth. Jeff was furious. He had to find and marry Hana so that he legally could be Fiqah's dad.

Finding Hana was like tracing a ghost. Unknown to the rest of the world, Hana changed her name to Nurul Ain, a famous TV presenter. When Jeff found out who Nurul Ain really is, he tried to provoke Hana into telling him what had happened 7 years ago. He didn't tell her about Fiqah just yet, hoping that Hana would fall in love with him for who he was not because she had to for Fiqah's sake.

When Hana finally fell in love with Jeff, she was furious and hurt (once again) when she found out accidently about Fiqah...

What happened next? Haha.. this time, I let you guys read the novel. Trust me, as much as I like Aku Yang Kau Tinggalkan, I also like this one. Thinking about it, both novels have their similarities. But what make this novel differ from others is that in other novels, the child was always with the mum but in here, both parents didn't know the existance of their child and the father found out the child first and together they looked for their wife and mum..

Took me a day and a half to finish reading this novel. Love it!

Ever had your dream comes true? Hah! that's sounds very easy.

Ok... let me rephrase that. Ever thought the girl/boy in your dreams comes alive?

Well, that's what happened in this novel. Iqram Iskandar had the same dream over and over again. He dreamt of a same woman over and over again. He remembered every inch of the woman's face that he asked an artist to paint 'her' for him. 

Ilham Nur Insyirah called Iqram 'Mr Weird' the first time she met him. Why? Because Iqram had found the woman he dreamt of and he asked Insyirah to smile the first time he bumped into her. 

One fateful day, Insyirah's boyfriend, Zafirul passed away and Iqram, who was her officemate offered to send her to Zafirul's home. Unfortunately, on their way home, Iqram's car broke down forcing them to stay in the car together while waiting for the rain to subside. Luck was not on their sides as they were caught by the religious officers for 'khalawat'. 

Then, I guess we all know what happened to the couples. Iqram willing to take the responsibilities but that cause Insyirah's hatred to him. She accused Iqram of taking advantages on her vulnerability. Iqram tried to make Insyirah fell in love, told her that he fell in love with her way before he met her and the painting was the proof. Insyirah ignored him as her love stayed with Zafirul but when you were showered with love everyday, you eventually gave in and so did Insyirah. Of course, in between so many stuffs happened.

But all in all, everything comes to a good end. I love a happy ending. Who doesn't right? But in opinion, this is just like any other novel. Honestly to say, this novel is 'forgettable'. The writer can do better....

The first time I read this novel online from penulisan2u.my, I was head over heels. But it took me ages to finally go and buy this novel and it took me (another) ages to finaly read this novel. And at last! This morning, I managed to finish this novel. Haha! Talk about nothing else to do...

The first time Hairi, a medical student, met Idayu, it was love at first sight for him. But to tame Idayu, a beautiful wonderful, shy girl was the most challenging task ever for this city boy. The only way for him to have her was to propose her. After 2 meetings, one month of knowing each other, they finally got engaged.

But when Idayu found out that she was born out of wedlock (her real mother was raped by several men), she was devastated and suffering from low-self esteem. Knowing that no one would ever accept her with her uncertain status, she decided to break off her engagement to Hairi without letting him knew the real reason. Both were heart broken; Idayu had to let go of her love and Hairi, thinking that Idayu cheated on him.

6 years later, Idayu managed to finish her nursing degree decided to work in a home, caring for the ill Engku Maryam. Her beauty caught Engku Lokman's attentions. Engku Lokman was a playboy who lived a sinful life. Women for him were just to satisify his needs. Eversince he saw Idayu in an inappropriate manners, he couldn't stop but to think about her. One night, he entered Idayu's room and raped her, thinking that by having her body, it would satisfy his needs. Idayu ran away...

When Engku Badrul, Lokman's dad found out, he forced Lokman to marry Idayu (by bribing him with a biggest share in the company), hoping that Idayu would change Lokman's playboy nature. Astrid, Lokman's domestic partner at that time was furious when she found out that Lokman was getting married. But Lokman promised her that after 3 months of marriage with Idayu, he would be back with her.

But Lokman never thought marrying Idayu was the best thing that ever happened in his life. She thought him of the true meaning of life and forgave him for his sinful life, thinking that she had change him. Lokman was head over heels in love with Idayu that he forgot all about Astrid and his promises until one day, Astrid came back and everything became haywire; Lokman explained to Astrid that he couldn't another; Astrid wanted Lokman back; Idayu was getting suspicious.

One day, sh saw Lokman and Astrid together, entering into once-Lokman's love-nest condiminium with Astrid. She ran away, met up with her ex-fiance who still love her. I guess it's true that if you love someone, seeing that someone happy eventhough it's not with you, is good enough for you. And that what Hairi did. He tried to mend Idayu and Lokman's misunderstanding... ahhh! so noble!

Of course, it's a happy ending! I love novel with a happy ending coz for me, life is not as perfect as those in the novels and my only 'escape' route from this unperfect world is thru reading... call me a dreamer but who never dream of a happy life? ;)

Finished reading this novel weeks ago but I just haven't got the time to update - update everything I guess!

Anyway, how shall I reviewed this novel coz it is a complicated storyline. Hah! Complicated pun salah, straight forward pun salah.. khehe.

Adrianna Mayesa had a very complicated life. Her mom died when she was younger, leaving her with her stepfather who later married a widow with 2 children. Hmmm... reminds me of Cinderella but in Cinderella, her father married a widow with 2 children. Back to the review; and of course, the stepmother didn't like Ad - short for Adrianna. Left her to feed for herself and when she got employed, she was expected to give her salary to the stepmum.

Tengku Farriel Izumi, the hero on the other hand, well, as the name went, was born into a branch of royalty. When he was a teenager, he found a girl in the alley - Arianna Maisara who was living with a cancer. He brought her home and his  treated her as their adopted daughter but not for Farriel. For him, Maisara was his first love. When she died, he was devastated.

Farriel's dad, Tengku Faris would do anything for his wealth and family. He tracked down someone who was similar to Maisara, Ad and sponsored her to study at the same elite school as Farriel. Farriel, who hated Ad for reminding him of Ann always bullied Ad at school.

Years gone by when Ad and Farriel accidently met when Ad who was sending dresses to Farriel's home was mistaken for Farriel's girlfriend. 3 hours after their accidental 'reunion', Ad and Farriel were asked to marry by Farriel's grandma. 

Ok... I gotta admit, the beginning of the story was quiet interesting but then everything heading to 'normal'. Ad and Farriel married; fought; cried and eventually fell in love with each other until Farriel's real girlfriend, Marina came back and wanted Farriel back into her life.

Then the story got complicated from there. Tengku Faris, who was blinded with wealth saw an opportunity with Marina when he found out that Marina inherited wealth from her parents. With his plans, he tried to break Ad and Farriel apart and asked Marina to seduce his own son!! Gosh! 

Anyway, Ad and Farriel fought again and Ad ran away. When Farriel finally managed to find her and explained everything, someone came and shot Ad... just like in a movie! LOL!!

I don't know how to review this novel exactly. Read it and let you be the judge of it.

What else can I say? This novel, by far for this year, is one of the BEST novels I had read. I kid you not! But if I want to look thoroughly the storyline, the beginning is more or less the same as Siti Rosmizah's 7 Hari Mencintaiku; only the beginning, mind you. But as it goes, Suami Yang Kubenci is tottaly different from 7 Hari Mencintaiku.

Hannah Maryam had no choice but to marry Uwais Ukasyah (I'm lovin' that name) after her fiance, Tengku Muiz was caught in an underaged girl's underpants... or so to speak less than a week to her big day. Her grandpa, Tuk Ayah was furious when Hannah got engaged to Muiz in UK so this time, no compromise, Hannah had to marry her grandpa's choice of groom.

Uwais, an ambitious businessman owed some money from a loan shark and when his business (burger stall) was slow, the money he owed had triple. Tuk Ayah settled his debt with a condition - marry Hannah.

Hannah hated Uwais coz for her, Uwais didn't reach her standard. And yes, they could be more different. Hannah drove an Audi, Uwais drove a classic Mini Copper. Hannah was a CEO for the family's company, Uwais was a 'burger-man'. Hannah graduated with Masters from a top university in UK, Uwais (for Hannah) probably just barely passed his SPM. Unknown to Hannah, Uwais graduated from a university from Jordan.

People kept on saying, don't hate a person too much coz in the end, you would love the person more than life itself. Which is what happened in this novel; from hate to love. I know you would say, what special about this novel that I 'chopped' this as one of the best novels?

You see, most of the novels I read, the flow is always the same. 2 persons hate each other, they fall in love with each other and when they find happiness, some bad things happens they fight, one person goes one side, the other to another and it takes some lengthy story before they finally find their "everlasting" happiness. Am I right?

So, am I saying Suami Yang Kubenci any different? Hell yeah! Hannah finally admitted that she loved Uwais before it's too late. They learnt to accept each other weakness and loved each other for who they were. And I have to salute the writer for making this novel "alive". While I was reading it, I envisioned the whole scenario in my mind and I was not afraid to laugh out loud to the funny parts. Yes, I do laugh when I read a novel that can make me do so.

Congratulations E-Man Sufi! For me, you can go further with your writing! Salute!

I'm lovin' this novel.

I'm trying to remember if I ever read such a familiar story but at the moment, I can't.

Ainnur, who falls in love with her own cousin, Ashraf eversince she was a child wouldn't give up to gain Ashraf''s love. However, Ashraf feels totally opposite. For him, Ainnur is just another cousin who happens to live in a village hence the kampung girl. For Ashraf, Ainnur, as a kampung girl is uneducated, just managed to finish her form 5, stay at home and wait for somone to come and propose when infact Ainnur is an overseas graduate teacher.

So when both parents want to marry them off, Ainnur agrees but with one condition; no one is allowed to tell Ashraf who she really she - an educated teacher. No matter how Ainnur shows her love to Ashraf, it only makes things worst; Ashraf hates kampung girl. Ego? Yeahhh... way up high. And for Ashraf, he couldn't love another after Ain Airina - his another 'Ain'.

But when Faisal, an ex-senior of Ainnur (who admits he loves Ainnur) comes back into Ainnur's life, Ashraf couldn't help himself but to get jealous. He falls in love with Ainnur? Impossible. But that impossible thing happens. He marries Ainnur but still live apart - he is KL while Ainnur in Pulau Pinang. Every messages and phone calls from Ainnur are left unanswered and every time they managed to talk, it will only hurt Ainnur even more. Until 1 day, Ainnur left with no more messages and phone calls that Ashraf realises, he has to lower down his ego and amend things.

But how to amend a broken heart? A wife's heart nontheless...

And how Ainnur, Ashraf, Faisal and Ain Airina come together in this novel? You have to read it, of course!

Ok! I gave up! I think me and Orkid Eyliyne were not meant to be.

I finished reading her second novel and I still couldn't get the author's mindset. But to be honest, her second novel is a lot more better than her first. At least I can try to understand what is she trying to say.

Shall I do the review? Hmm... let's see

Both are named Iman Firdaus. Both are totally different from each other. 1 is a female and the other is male. The male, Aus comes from a well off family and an actor nevertheless while Iman, lost her parents due to 'accidents', drop out of high school and has to support her 5 younger brothers.

Both Iman Firdaus(s) accidently meet To save himself from his parents' pressure and gossips with female artists, Aus, asked Iman to help him by agreeing to be his wife. Iman accepts when Aus promised to take care of her and her younger brothers.

As in her previous novels, the author made it a habit that the male and the female characters didn't get along well... what they do? fight... fight.. fight... and fight some more.

I also don't know how, when and why the ending becomes as such.. hmm...

I let the other readers read it...

After my previous novel-disappointment, I decided to choose carefully my next novel to read among my 10 new unread novels. And Thank God, this novel ain’t as disappointing as the previous one.

Rania and Irfan are BFF with totally different characters. Rania is rough, outspoken person while Irfan is timid, weak person, kindda a shame for a guy. Whenever Irfan is bullied by their friends, Rania is always there to defend him which make Irfan to fall in love with Rania.

Rania, however, doesn’t want to be in love or fall in love ever again after the death of her first love, Haris and Irfanknows of that fact. But because of love, he goes ahead and propose Rania. When Rania’s parents agree to Irfan’s proposal, Rania is no longer defending Irfan. Infact she is inturn bully Irfan, hoping that he backs off and takes back his proposal. But beneath Irfan’s timid look, he has a determination to have Rania as his wife.

Whenever Rania showers him with rough treatments, Irfan showers her with love.. over and over again until Rania realised that eventhough, she doesn’t love Irfan but she has to face the fact that she can’t live without her BFF, Irfan.

What happened between those two? Will Rania ever love Ifan more than just a BFF?

Well, of course it ends with happy ending. If it doesn’t, I would be disappointed with this novel too. LOL!

How many of you had read this novel, please out your hands up. And tell me honestly how you rate this novel?

I don’t know whether it’s the novel itself or my reading-mind has totally changed for I found this novel really really disappointing. Gosh! This is the second novel with “Novel Terlaris” chopped on the front cover and when I read it, it’s not up to my expectation. I’m really really totally disappointed. It took me 3 weeks (seriously!!) to finish this novel and even that, I had to force myself to read and finish it for I promised to myself that no matter how uninteresting the novel might be, I will finish it; no matter how long it would take.

As for the review, I don’t if I can do it. I would let other readers read it.

Why this novel is disappointing? Well, there is no proper storyline. It’s like the character herself, Intan Asha Areen, who in my opinion had no proper purpose in life. The author uses her obsession for Koreans into this novel (I’m no longer a big fan of Korean dramas). The author uses Korean languages instead of Malay when infact a malay novel, the purpose is to promote Malay language, don’t you think?

Anyway, it’s just my opinion of this novel. Sorry if this review ever reach the author. But in my honest opinion, this novel might be interesting for teenagers or young adults. I’m not saying I’m that old but what’s a novel with no impact on the readers? Nada... Zero.. Nil..

It's kindda funny how's my local dialect being put into typed words. And reading it honestly, for me quiet difficult. In this novel, the heroin came from Labuan, a tax free Malaysian island just off Borneo and in a way, the people there shared few cultures (and language) similar to Brunei.

The day she was born, Syira was pratically engaged with one of her parents' bestfriends's son. I would say Syira was a unique person; she was so good in everything.

Before she further her studies (to become a doctor), her parents had decided to marry her off with her "fiance", known as Airy. Airy, called Syira up and told her his heart was taken by someone else and over the phone, he made few conditions to their arranged marriage. Syira, just accepted it only with 1 condition; to allow her to continue her study.

But with her characters, Airy couldn't help but to fall in love with his own wife but his mind rejected the idea and asked him to be faithful to his "Bunga Angkasa aka Cikgu Ash"; whom he met only twice and without knowing that his "Bunga Angkasa aka Cikgu Ash" was his own wife!

Realisation came a bit late; Airy said something that hurt Syira's feeling; Syira packed her stuffs and continued her study abroad. 2 years, she didn't come home - not to her parents, not to Airy, not to Malaysia.

When Syira eventually came back, she was surprised to see Airy had changed into a very caring, loving person. She only thought of 2 things: Airy had married his "Bunga Angkasa" or he wanted to divorce her. Airy's actions confused her even more but his past behaviours made Syira reluctant to love him as before.
So what would happen between them? What Syira would do when she found out that her competition (for Airy's love), Bunga Angkasa was herself?

Marvelous read!!

If Afifah Yusof's Jodoh Kau & Aku is a smooth "novel life" then Dibius Cinta, I would say a very problematic, chiotic novel life.

Cazlin Amalina was considered an orphan left only with her brother; dad disappeared when she was in her mum's womb. Her accidental meetings with Adam Syafiq were not the pleasant. Until one day, when Cazlin's brother, Cazlan Ahmad Hadi, saved Adam Syafiq's mum from a kidnapping. Her brother was shot dead and Puan Sri Saleha, Adam's mum owed her life to Cazlin and made Cazlin her adopted daughter.
But it's hard to keep a grown up man and woman in a home with no ties. To make it easier for the parents, Adam was asked by his mum to marry Cazlin on her "so-called death bed". His love for his mum made Adam agreed eventho' he had a gf, Hana.

As the days passed, Adam was falling more in love with Cazlin and viceversa but Hana made it all haywire! Their marriage was ok for a time but then Hana made sure they were never really happy. Threating Adam's sister, Ayuna, Hana managed to make Cazlin to misscarry.

Episodes by episodes came into their marriage due to Hana, caused by Hana and at one point, everything came out. Cazlin finally met her father, who happened to be Hana's father too! Surprise!!! Hana was diagnosed with brain cancer and her dying wish was to marry Adam.

Would Adam marry Hana? Would Cazlin fight for her love or let her husband go?
I'm not gonna spell it all out here. It's an okay novel but I don't understand why this novel made it as a "best seller". Compared to others, I think it doesn't live up to that stage - just yet.

When an accident occured between Nurin Syakirah and Faizal Faiz, Faizal knew it was love at first sight but Nurin who dislike and uncomfortable with Faizal's  attitude, lied and told she was married. Faizal let her go coz for him, a married woman was simply not his type.

Their second accidental meeting came Nurin was running away from an ex-boyfriend, Shamsul. Faizal saved her from falling down the stairs. Nurin was speechless upon realising that Faizal was the one who saved her (coz her heart skipped few beats) and Shamsul took the advantages to comfort her. Assuming that Shamsul was Nurin's husband (due to their intimacy), Faizal was shocked when he found out that his parents had arranged a marriage between him and Nurin!! With a negative attitude towards Nurin, thinking that she had an affair with Shamsul, Faizal promised not to touch Nurin and they would only pretend to be a loving couple.

As the days passed, Shamsul kept on chasing after Nurin, which made her relationship with Faizal worsen. Jasmin, Shamsul's wife and Nurin's roomate (in university) was furious when she found out that Shamsul is still in love with Nurin. Norsiah, Shamsul''s cousin and Faizal's ex-girlfriend, who was divorced came back and was hoping to get Faizal's love back. Datuk Mahadi and Datin Sofia, Shamsul's adopted parents kept on looking for their long lost real-son. Zarif, who lost Adibah, changed the moment he saw Nurin.

How all these people eventually meet up with each other?

From a reader to another reader, this is a must read novel! It took me a day to finish it... just because I'm very impatient to know the ending... LOL!; although I did skip to the last few pages just to know the ending even before I reach there.

BUT... aha! there is a ... BUT...!

Althought the storyline impresses me, the editing does NOT! I did check and the book I own happens to be the 1st publication. I don't know whether they have a lousy editor or this novel is never being edited at all! There are SO MANY spell mistakes, words missing, sentences jumble up... bla bla bla..

Luckily I'm a person with imagination (LOL!) and I had read too much novels to know (more or less) what the author tries to explain. But all in all, I'm really disappointed with the editing. I do hope the publisher and the editor would try their very best to minimise the editing errors in the next publications. I mean, this novel has the potential to be BIG!

My rating: 6/ 10 (it would be a lot higher if not for the editing errors) *BIG SIGH*

Remember my last novel review - Jauh Dari Cinta?

And how I was hoping that Kalau Sudah Sayang would be different from Jauh Dari Cinta?

Well, I'm happy to say that these 2 novels are totally different from each other =D

As I mentioned before in the Jauh Dari Cinta's review, the opening is more or less the same. Maisarah Ernieza was proposed by Ariff Zulkarnain's parents without Ariff's approval. Ariff, who has Hani at that time, had no choice but to follow his parents' wish.

On their wedding night, Ariff told Sarah that he couldn't love her and their marriage won't mean anything. Sarah ran away and went home and Ariff just couldn't be bothered until his parents demanded him to bring Sarah back.

Their marriage went on with one going to one side, while another going to other side. Basically they were strangers. But in the meantime, Ariff no longer seeing Hani and Hani also left without words. Something not quiet right here in the storyline... anyway...

One day, Ariff was involved in an accident and Sarah got her 'wife' title back by taking care of Ariff. As the day passed, Ariff realised that he has fallen in love with his wife. But it's not easy to gain Sarah's love after all he had done. Of course, they eventually made up.. ohh sweet.

Wait! It's not over yet. I mean, you think it would end just like that? No fight? and what happened to Hani? Turn out, Hani went to accompany her friend (who was in the fashion world) and travel the world. Came back to Malaysia, she was told that Ariff had married another. Fewwhh... what else? She was pissed off with Ariff but Ariff (who was madly in love with his wife at the time), just plainly ignore her. Oucchhh!

A day came when Sarah saw Ariff followed Hani to a hotel room and without confrontation, she packed her bag and went to Johor where she continued her studies.

Few months after, Ariff finally managed to track down his wife, heavily pregnant. Told her that he was nearly fallen into Hani's trap but luckily saved by his dad (who came as soon as Sarah informed him). Initially Sarah stil couldn't trust Ariff but after hearing so many stories and comments from their relatives, she eventually made up with her husband... and this time, yes, it's coming to an end...

Maybe the way I reviewed it is so plain and simple but I gotta say, this novel doesn't disappoint me. I don't know why but somehow I can 'feel' it. Ariff was working in a ship (didn't specify as what), but knowing someone you love is somewhere and with no news, it does put some unease feelings upon you... I know ;)

For her, seeing her mum happiness was everything to her and in a way, to seek her mum's forgivness for her 'sins'. Haliza, persuaded Ersalina to accept Datin Adibah's proposal for a reason. Knowing that her daughter is pregnant without Ersalina herself knowing it, marriage was the only way out, eventhough Haliza didn't know who made her daughter pregnant.

Ersalina was pregnant and she didn't know it? hmmm.. weird erk?

Anyway, Zain and Ersalina got married. Since they were strangers, they decided to be friends and would go from there eventhought their feelings for each other were strong. A month passed without Zain 'touching' Ersalina when Ersalina fell from stairs and miscarriage. The perfect happy life they were having were no longer perfect.

Zain was furious. The wife he thought was innocent infact not as innocent as he thought. Since then, Zain would hurt Ersalina's feelings but for her love to Zain, she endured all the pains knowing that it was her fault. To make it short, they eventually made up... yippie... well, that was until Datin Adibah knew Ersalina's history. Now, it's the mum's turn to be furious; Haliza lived in guilt all the time...

I won't bored you with the lengthy review. Of course it ended with happy ending - which I love =D And you would say that this is just another cliche love novel. In a way, it is but I gotta admit, there are some valuable points in this novel. It shows how a mother's love can affect the child's love, happiness and what they are capable of doing for the love of their children.

If it's up to me, I would dedicate this novel to mothers out there... without them, who are we?

You ever had a crush with someone back in the high school/college/university? Oh! I had! Who hasn't? But then, crush is just crush.. nothing ever happened beyond that. Feelings cannot be forced. No matter how much you like a person and if the person doesn't share the same feeling, it's not worth it ;) Move on...

And that's what Nysa Sakinah did. Once, she fell in love with a senior, "abang angkat" back in the university, Farish Aqil. But Aqil who had Lily at that time, rejected Nysa's feeling and asked her to be "his sister" forever.

Years later, Nysa was proposed by someone. Eventhough she didn't say yes, somehow her father made her so. And who would have thought that "someone" was Aqil. Which woman wouldn't be happy? Nysa was happy but somehow she couldn't believe her faith. Her love for Aqil eventually made her say yes!

Aqil, on the other hand, proposed to Nysa for a reason - Lily! Lily, who promised Aqil to come back to Malaysia, broke her promise, made Aqil frustrated. Ego spoke louder, Aqil threatned Lily that if she didn't come back, he would marry another. And that's what he did; by marrying Nysa.

When Nysa found out, it was too late to stop the marriage. In the end, she became Aqil's wife in name only. Stuffs happened after that. Her new housemate before, Sara was infact Lily; Hadif, Nysa's bestfriend and colleague is Lily's cousin and Lily wanted to be back with Aqil. Things bacame uncontrolable that Nysa ended in an accident.

When she woke up, she pretended to suffer from amnesia; the only way she could forget everything. She treated Aqil as a stranger while Aqil, who felt guilty started to take care more of Nysa and less of Lily.

When Aqil found out Nysa was pretending with amnesia, what happened after that? I mean, Aqil was a doctor and you can't lie much to a doctor about amnesia.. lol!

It's a great storyline about giving love a second chance. Some people say, why give love to someone who never appreciate it? But then, I would ask, you would never know what you will discover until you give love a second chance ;)

But there is 1 point I would like to raise. I read Jauh Dari Cinta back in October 2011 and currently, I'm reading Kalau Sudah Sayang by Fieyza Fadlina. Suprisingly the story started almost the same. The story started with the heroin received a proposal from the guy's family, am i right? When I stared reading Kalau Sudah Sayang, I stopped mid page and was saying to myself, have I read this novel before? Hmmm... it took me a while to search which novel has the same "entrance".

I'm not saying it's not good but as a reader, we or I want something extraordinary to start a story.. don't let it be the same as others coz when there is too much similarity, a reader like moi would get bored easily... well, let's hope Kalau Sudah Sayang won't be disappointing... wait for my review ;)

This would be the 'closing' novel of 2011 for me. 

Danisha Khalida was raped by her stepfather when she was 11 years old. With nothing to offer for her future husband, she was not keen towards the opposite sex until there came Tengku Isma Danish. 

Danish who was married the time he and Danisha met knew that he was falling in love at first sight. At the same time, his marriage to Rozita was coming to an end which eventually ended when Rozita was involved in an accident and die.

The same feelings they had towards each other and no one in the way to interfere with their relationship, let's just say that everything is so smooth. Too smooth that i kept on telling myself that this is all fiction, which it is. The only 'critical' time in this novel is when Danish introduced Danisha to his royalty family and when Danisha's mum came back into their life but as i said before, it's too smooth..

From the starting of the novel, everything is straight forward which is both good and bad (for an avid reader like myself). It's kindda like Cinderella-type story; a girl raped by the stepdad, raised in the orphanage, met her prince in shining armor, got married and lived happily ever after. If i want to compare it with any other novels, it's really disappointing. Don't get me wrong, the storyline is interesting but somehow the way the writer expressed it in writing ain't that great. 

Most of the characters were kindda blury, shall i say. For me, there is so much missing link in this novel that at some point i was wondering whether the writer was in so much of a hurry to finish this novel and submit it to the editor.

This is the first novel I read from this writer and it really didn't disappoint me.

As a fanatic reader, any readers infact, this is one novel you have to read.

And what makes this novel different from others is that the 'setting'.

The author managed to 'introduce' Turin, Italy and its famous cities to the readers.

And who doesn't love Italy?

For someone with an expanding imagination, I can just feel it!

The cities are historic,

the fashions are brilliant

and the men are so yummy-licious!! =D

Back to the novel, seriously, it had been listed into one of my top favorite novels!

9.5/10!!
