The bright calm blue sea!

I always love the sea.

For me the sea (and oceans of course) are very unpredictable.

But whenever my fiance is working (like starting yesterday), sometimes sea can be my greatest fear for he is out there.

The picture was sent to me by my fiance, knowing how much I love the sea and ocean...

It's THE Season! Part 2

Last Tuesday, me and my parents decided to go to mum's kampung located in Temburong.

Temburong is accessible either via boat or by car passing thru the neighboring state, Limbang.

Via boat, it would take 45 minutes thru the Brunei River

and by car, it can take up to 1.5 hours or up to 2 hours depending on the Immigration check points and Customs for both Brunei and Limbang, Malaysia.

For us, we went by car which is more convenient...

I would say, around 90% of Temburong land is forest,

which makes it so peaceful...

Aha!

The journey to Temburong is not for nothing!

With my tablet running out of battery,

luckily I brought a book and my ipod shuffle with me.

The ques to and from Temburong were surprising long.

Took off from home around 9am and came back home around 5pm!

Today morning,

me and my parents went to my dad's side.

It ain't that far from my home, around 7-10 minutes drive..

I was updating an application yesterday

Yesterday, I was hyper!

I planned to give both my German and Japanese babies a bath each LOL ;D

And another reason was, dad kept on nagging me on neglecting my babies for so long.... too long I guess..

weeehhhh.... shiny man! LOL! as if...

but it was far more better than before

 Unfortunately, rain poured down on me while giving my Japanese baby a shower

hence I had to cancel a date with my German baby

Oh! No worries baby...

Next time will be yours, definitely...

But I can't promise when... LOL

Reality Kicks In...

... too soon, i guess... *yawn*

school reopens last tuesday,

everyone's back from their december leave last tuesday

and it was the first working day of the year (the government sector)

no more holidays!!! *another BIG yawn*

back to work...

back facing the usual traffic morning and afternoon *big sigh*

...gone the diet... lol!

 chocolates taste 10x more yummy-licious when you are stress...

why am i stress?

first week of every year = drug usage reports!

and lots of it!

so many reports need to be done, which i dislike doing...

... sometimes i feel like an accountant; 

which sounds very very horrible coz i'm lousy with numbers =D

i think i'm in need of a 'happy pills' lol!!

p.s cross any ideas that comes to your mind when you read 'happy pills'

and saw these pink tablets coz it ain't the real happy 'happy pills', if you get what i meant.

the above tablets are just vitamins =D in pink!!

oh well, the bright side of today....

a senior from college came by and gave me 2 harrods ballpens with the gold casing =D

a gift from UK...

thank you jus!!

apart from that,

wishing the days would pass by quickly so that saturday will come soon... can't hardly wait to see the boyfriend lol!

and of course, my leave would also start soon.... very soon if the days would just pass by =D

Fate or Coincidence?

Believe in fate?

I do!

There are certain things in life that I have every confidence that fate plays the important role.

For example, today!

I was on my way home and was about to come out from the Gadong junction when a guy caught my eyes.

YES! I have a very uncontrollable pairs of eyes - they kept on wondering off without me realising LOL!

But the thing that caught my attention is that, this is the same guy I strongly said (to myself), "If fate has its way, I will meet him again" when I first saw him.

I saw him a year ago, 2/4/2010

then I saw him again on 2/9/2010

and I thought that was it!

Then I saw him again (all the way in KB) last 12/01/2011

and again... today!

But then, the more I see of him, the more I want to know him!

Is he married? That would be my first important question!

3 out of 4 meetings, he was alone (including today, where Sunday is suppose to be a family day and outings with the bfs/gfs).

1 of the 4 meetings, he was with his parents =)

My meetings, is it coincidence or is it fate?

So, if its fate, what are you planning for me?

Errmmm... I'm not waving at you

The unexpected thing happened this morning.

Suprisingly there was a long que heading towards the Kiulap roundabout (aka the BIG roundabout as we Bruneians tend to say) this morning and it was just 7.05am!

So, there are 3 lanes - 1st lane the far left, 2nd lane the middle and the 3rd lane the far right.

Observing that the middle lane was the shortest lane, I took that lane.

As I was slowly making my way to the middle lane, I passed a familiar car on the left lane; a friend hubby's car, so I slowed down and looked. I saw my friend on the passenger seat so when the hubby looked at my way, I waved.

It took them 5 seconds to recognize me and by that time I already moved on. Well, it won't be proper stopping the car just to wait for them to recognize me. It would be inconsiderate to the other drivers.

Then as I moved forward (the left and right lanes were still stuck), I saw another familiar car, this time a colleague's car on the right lane, so I did the same - I slowed down and looked at her. But she didn't saw me, so I just drove thru'.

Few seconds later, the colleague caught up with me and we waved to each other! Gosh! as if we didn't see each other that often (she's working at another clinic) LOL! And we were doing sign language like, "what? so early (you going to work)?" and other drivers were looking at us weirdly.

Realizing that our behaviors were being observed, we ceased our childish acts and just concentrated on the road (later that day, we had our proper chat through the phone).

Being on the fast lane, I was ahead of my other 2 friends. Then at one time, somehow my friend (with the hubby) passed by and she was waving (frantically) to get my attention and when I noticed her, I waved back (frantically too!) without realizing that she was far up ahead and I was accidently waving to this one very very very cute guy (who was behind my friend hubby's car) and he was looking at me, weirdly. He was giving me one of those looks and he even pointed his finger to himself as if to ask, "me?"

What did I do? I just shake my head (red faced), looked ahead and trying my very best to concentrate on the road and ignore him!

But this cute guy gave me a cheeky smile when he passed me by!

February Fun

Oh! I know it's March already but as I was lagging behind in updating my blog,

so here it is...

20th February, we had a family picnic at the Serasa beach.

It had been quiet a long time we didn't have any family picnic so my nieces were so excited.

Last Monday vs Yesterday Monday

I would like to mind readers and fellow bloggers that I don't specifically hate Monday nor I have the so-called Monday Blues but I had to say last week Monday was not a very good day for me.

It started to be a good day; it was raining and for those who don't know me (yet!), I love rain and it was my first day of a course at the Islamic Da'wah Center. Everything went well tha morning until I was on my way home that lunch hour. My car's battery indicator was flashing and I knew, something was wrong. I can 'feel' it! But Alhamdulillah, I managed to arrive home safe. Dad came home and I told him the problem. Just as I guessed - it's the alternator! O! Not again! This would be the second time!!

The first time, I spent $600+ to fix the alternator. Fix it, mind you? Dad said, this time maybe I should replace it with a new one!! So. Dad asked around. Agent price = $1400! Yikes! Workshop price (brand new) = $900+, secondhand = $600+! Fewwhhh! But in the end, Dad found a workshop that can fix the alternator for about $200!

-that's an alternator, btw... LOL-

For the following days, I had to car pool with my brother; which was troublesome! But by Saturday, I'm a free driver again and with that, I finished my course with a satisfying certificate =)

Yesterday Monday, it promised to be a beautiful day!

After a week of not coming in to the office, work was hectic but managable! And everytime I feel down, I just look at this picture! Awesome-ness!

I don't know how to swim

and I'm phobia of the deep sea! LOL!

Promising 1st Day of February

It's the coolest Tuesday morning... ever!

I should just stay at home this morning but then I didn't or should I say, I couldn't.

Dad asked my help to do his car insurance and I did.

And as it is the last day of working day for the year 2010,

everyone and everywhere were busy!

I spent the morning alone in the post office and the bank!

And the weather didn't help either!

Morning, it is sooo hot and dry,

afternoon, it is cloudy with the hint of rain

and night, it's raining!

Anyway, my "OH NO" part would be after the insurance affairs!

I finished reading Akan Ku Tunggu this morning (yup! I slept at 4am!)

so, being an 'addict', I need a new novel.

So, I tried my luck by going to the bookstore (the main one) and as luck has it,

2 of the novels that I was looking for (Penjara Rindu and Kau Milikku) are available.

I took them down from the shelves without giving my brain any second to think! LOL!

5 minutes later, believe it or not, I left that bookstore NOT with 2 novels BUT 4 novels!!!
