The "What Ifs"...

I always said to myself that, past is past, no use of thinking what had happened but as a normal human, I (and you) couldn't help but to think the 2 words that could change the present and shape your future - what ifs...

What ifs... it could be for different meanings and different things and different purposes in life. I'm not saying that I'm regreting the life I'm having now... oh! big NO! I'm lovin' my life... what is there not to love. But sometimes, I would think that my life would be different if I had chose different path in life in the past.

Who knows? I might be married with kids nowdays instead of having a wonderful, understanding, loving boyfriend (LOL!). I might be surrounded with lots of friends but no real BFF like my own BFF, Didz =D I might be working in a sterile environment instead of the choatic, hectic and stressful environment... haha!

Of course I have to admit that there are some things I do regret. An example, I wish I could be a better friend to my male BFF. Honestly, eventhough I rarely admit it, I do miss him. I miss you Chep!

But then as I said, no use in thinking about those. Now, just keep on living. Mistakes are make to be made by us human. From them, we can improve ourselves and shape a better future. And always remember by the end of the day, be thankful for what you have, had done and achieved coz living a life is not to regret the past but to embrace and appreciate the present - life, family and friends. The future? Oh, don't worry much about it. The future will come naturally... eventually ;)

... on my way home from work, long que is normal but stuck in a que for almost half an hour and NOT moving at all, it's no longer normal...

MASSIVE traffic jam

... saw "a giant fountain" from faraway and guess it must be the cause of this non-moving long que...

apparently there is a HUGE hole in the middle of the road caused by a pipe burst hence

"the giant fountain"...

driving thru that strong outburst of water was both fun (cos it was like playing in the rain and it had been quiet a while i didn't wash my car LOL) and scary (cos i can barely see anything - all white!)

... not a fan of Liverpool Football Club but this card is the only one available...

1. I'm daddy's little girl!

LOL! I think some people know that! Okay! I shall be ashamed to admit this but somehow I don't! No matter how old I get (not that old yet anyway!), I would always and would be my dad's little girl!

2. I used to be a tomboy

Does anyone knows that? Hands up if you do!

3. I always wanted to be an archeologist

My biggest passion (apart from reading) would be discoveries and history and I always fell in 'love' with archeologists =) Besides, digging dirts is fun! LOL

4. When I'm mad (at someone or about something) I would be quiet

I'm labelled as talk active to those who know me well. And well, I talked a lot around people I'm comfortable and close with. My boss and colleagues even bet among themselves on how long I can stand without talking - but of course, they always lose. I can be quiet if I want to. And I would be quietest of all when I'm mad.

5. I bottled up my feelings

I might write a lot in here but 95% of my feelings are bottled up inside me. I don't talk about feelings easily which makes me lousy in relationship... haha!

6. I can't sleep without my oldest, smelliest bolster

Yup! I'm that person! I had that bolster (whom I named L***** ) had been with me since 1990 and I always have him around me. Yes, it's a male gender. I even tuck him in my suitcase and flew him all the way to Singapore with me when I was staying there. We are inseparable! LOL!

7. I want to write a book about my blogger friends

But in order to do that, I would like to travel to their home countries and 'catch' them at their own surrounding. Gosh, it would take me ages to get the fund, travel and meet but who knows, 1 day.....

I wouldn't consider it top 7 but I guess this would do =)

What I did for 2nd Jan?

I did facial pampering!

I did oil seed removal on my face

and now I looked like someone having a chicken pox! haha!

and what's worst, the wound would take a week to heal! Yikes!

Today,

it's my first day off!

Yup! After a week of working with no weekend,

it's finally my turn to have my 3-day off!

I'm lovin' my day so far.....

I should just stay at home this morning but then I didn't or should I say, I couldn't.

Dad asked my help to do his car insurance and I did.

And as it is the last day of working day for the year 2010,

everyone and everywhere were busy!

I spent the morning alone in the post office and the bank!

Morning, it is sooo hot and dry,

afternoon, it is cloudy with the hint of rain

and night, it's raining!

Anyway, my "OH NO" part would be after the insurance affairs!

I finished reading Akan Ku Tunggu this morning (yup! I slept at 4am!)

so, being an 'addict', I need a new novel.

So, I tried my luck by going to the bookstore (the main one) and as luck has it,

2 of the novels that I was looking for (Penjara Rindu and Kau Milikku) are available.

I took them down from the shelves without giving my brain any second to think! LOL!

5 minutes later, believe it or not, I left that bookstore NOT with 2 novels BUT 4 novels!!!

Can someone hide my ATM card, please???
